Bloodstockauction.com proudly offer for sale the complete dispersal of the bloodstock interests of the late Frederick Borg.
On behalf of Cavallon Stables, the bloodstock interests will be offered in two parts. The first 34 lots include weanlings, yearlings and racing stock, going live on Thursday, June 23 and concluding on Tuesday, June 28. All breeding stock will go live on Thursday, July 2 with the auction concluding on Tuesday, July 5.
The popular trucking magnate founded his own trucking company, Fred’s Interstate Transport in 1978 and grew the business to include more than 50 Kenworth and Western Star B-Doubles.
Involved in the Thoroughbred Breeding and Racing industry for over 20 years under his Cavallon Stables banner, Borg is also remembered as one of Australia’s top Poll Hereford breeders, operating Margfred Park at Kialla.
Borg has had some great success with his mares, including breeding the Group 3 winner Scarlet Billows (Street Boss {USA}) and the Listed-winning Reward For Effort filly, Desert Lashes.
Offered as part of the dispersal include lots by popular stallions All Too Hard, Winning Rupert, Overshare, Bull Point, Bel Esprit, Vino Rosso (USA), Highland Reel (Ire) and more.

Lot 2 - All Too Hard x Tsutsumi (Fusaichi Pegasus {USA}) '19 (filly)
This beautiful, unraced 2-year-old chestnut filly is by All Too Hard. She is out of the two-time winning mare Tsutsumi (Fusaichi Pegasus {USA}), who is a half-sister to Group 2 winner Light Up The World (Rory's Jester) and Listed winner Presenting (Redoute's Choice). She is from the family of multiple Group 1 winner Bentley Biscuit (Peintre Celebre {USA}).
Lot 3 – Winning In Paris (Winning Rupert x Pretty In Paris {Dane Shadow}) (filly)
Winning In Paris is an unraced 3-year-old filly by Winning Rupert. She is out of the winning mare Pretty In Paris, by Dane Shadow, and from a family that includes the stakes winner Miss Terrain (Spartacus).
Lot 5 – Overshare x Elle Excite (Excites) '20 (filly)
This beautiful yearling filly by Overshare is out of the five-time winner Elle Excite, by Excites. She is from a family that includes Group 3 winner Touch Of Silver (Sir Tristram {Ire}) and the multiple Group 1-performed Jet Past (Jet Master {SAf}).
She has been broken in and is ready to continue her education.
Lot 18 – Bull Point x Miss Fiesole (Snitzel) '21 (colt)
This weanling colt is the second foal out of the Snitzel mare Miss Fiesole, who is a sister to Group 3 winner Malavio and a half-sister to stakes placegetter Shengli (Choisir).
Lot 19 – Omaha Beach (USA) x Morton (Flying Spur) '21 (colt)
This cracking weanling colt is by Omaha Beach (USA). He is out of the two-time winning mare Morton, by Flying Spur, who is from a family that includes multiple Group 1 winner Heat Of The Moment (Blazing Saddles).
He is himself a half-brother to Listed winner and Group 1 performer Urban Groove (Charge Forward).
Lot 34 – Tosen Stardom (Jpn) x Yesterday (Red Ransom {USA}) '21 (filly)
This weanling filly by Tosen Stardom (Jpn) is out of the stakes-winning mare Yesterday, by Red Ransom (USA), who was a winner of two races including the Listed MRC Twilight Glow S. and was third in a further three Listed events. Yesterday is also a half-sister to Listed winner and Group performer Donna Dior (Marscay).
