A 90-strong catalogue for the 2020 edition of the Chairman’s Sale has been finalised with Group 1 winners Volpe Veloce (Foxwedge) and Go Indy Go (Bernardini {USA}) headlining a flurry of star power added to the sale.

The pair join the likes of Fastnet Rock mare Miss Barley, dam of Group 1-winning sprinter Gytrash (Lope De Vega {Ire}), Group 1 performer Happy Hannah (More Than Ready {USA}) who is in foal to Zoustar and multiple winner and stakes performer Invictus Salute (Exceed And Excel) as final wildcard entries.

“This really is one of the best catalogues of race fillies and broodmares ever assembled for a breeding stock sale in the southern hemisphere,’’ Inglis’ New South Wales Bloodstock Manager Chris Russell said.

“There are rare gems in the catalogue that simply do not reach the open market very often. We have been tremendously well supported by our vendors and have been able to create a spectacular buying opportunity for those looking to begin or expand their broodmare band.’’

The Inglis Chairman’s Sale will take the format of a virtual auction with online and telephone bidding on Friday, May 8 at inglis.com.au.
