Crack The Code (I Am Invincible) has been in terrific form this preparation for Mick Price with three wins on the bounce and the prospect of furthering her black type record here.

The 3-year-old won once from two appearances last season and with the benefit of a break she has returned to make rapid progress for the leading Caulfield trainer.

Crack The Code was a first-up winner at Moonee Valley before success on her home track and stepped out there again at her most recent appearance to take top honours in the G3 Kevin Hayes S. She likes to run on the pace and with a touch of luck from a wide gate can continue her winning sequence.

Bleu Roche (Fastnet Rock) looms as a danger after an unlucky resuming run for second when she got into clear air late. She went to the line strongly and trainer Matt Laurie said she hadn’t missed a beat since.

The filly had to play second fiddle last time to Humma Humma (Denman) a race rival and sure to prove a worthy adversary again. Prepared by John McArdle, she has yet to breakthrough at this level but is a multiple Group placegetter.

Multiple stakes placings

Multaja (Medaglia D’Oro {USA}) goes well at Moonee Valley where she has won and finished runner-up in her only other visit. She hasn’t been out since fifth behind Bleu Roche in the G3 Red Roses S. in the spring, but has trialled at Randwick before heading to Melbourne.

Victory Kingdom (Animal Kingdom {USA}) faces a sharp rise in class after easily breaking her maiden at short odds at Sandown while Morphettville visitor Schilldora (Artie Schiller {USA}) has an excellent winning strike rate.

Fresh runner Spanish Whisper (Lope De Vega {Ire}, a Group 1 placegetter in New Zealand before joining Lindsay Park, has trialled particularly well and has prospects at longer odds.

Embrace Me (Shamexpress {NZ}) has won twice around this tricky layout and has to be a chance if things go her way from the outside barrier.
