Listed Tasmanian Guineas, Hobart

Race Summary:

The Inevitable delivered a third stakes win for his sire Dundeel (NZ), with a fourth consecutive win to claim the Listed Tasmanian Guineas at Hobart.

Heavily supported into favourite, the Scott Brunton trained gelding got an excellent run for jockey Sigrid Carr and had too much class, beating another locally-trained galloper in Our Long Sali (Needs Further) by a length with Darren Weir's Queen La Diva third.

Pedigree Notes:

The Inevitable was bred by Tori Park Stud and was a $90,000 yearling buy at the Adelaide Magic Millions. She becomes the third stakes-winner from the mare, joining Blahnik (Jeune {GB}) who was a Group 3 winner in South Australia and Elysees (Statue For Liberty {USA}), who was a Listed winner. The dam, Gift Bouquet (King's High), was also a stakes winner.
