A fast start is expected on Day 3 of the Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale with several highly-rated yearlings featuring in the first 50 lots.

Chief among them is Lot 556, the I Am Invincible colt out of Etiole Fille (NZ) (No Excuse Needed {USA}) being offered by Manx Park.

The Yarraman Park stallion has the sole $1m-plus filly of the sale so far in Lot 72, but has a strong hand on Day 3. Lot 556 is from the family of Strike the Stars and Delta Girl, with her dam out of the New Zealand stakes-winner Starcent (NZ) (Centaine {NZ}).

Lot 556 I Am Invinicble x Etoile Fille (NZ)

Lot 540 is an I Am Invincible colt out of Eimhis (Al Samer), a half-sister to County Tyrone as well as Samara, the dam of Samaready, whose filly Exhilarates (Snitzel) is one of the favourites for Saturday's Magic Millions 2YO Classic.

There are 16 lots by I Am Invincible available on Day 3, including Lot 665, who is a colt out of Group 1 winner Hurtle Myrtle (Dane Shadow), who is expected to generate plenty of interest as well as Lot 762, a colt out of Luluoro (Redoute's Choice) and Lot 620, a filly out of Go Again (Husson {Arg}).

Woodside Park's Written Tycoon has had two lots over $600,000 in the first two days and could have his highest of the sale so far when Lot 624 hits the ring.

Lot 624 Written Tycoon x Golden Penny

That colt is out of Listed winner Golden Penny (Blevic) and is presented by Milburn Creek, whose top-priced yearling so far went for $675,00 on the opening day.

Widden's Zoustar had his highest-ever priced yearling on Thursday and has 12 yearlings for sale on the third day. There are high expectations for Lot 565, a filly out of Group winning mare Fancy Feet (Fath {USA}.

Not A Single Doubt could have his biggest price of the sale so far, with Lot 765, a colt by Madame Andree (War Emblem {USA}) expected to be popular along with Lot 667, a filly out of Listed winner Hussy By Choice (Hussonet {USA}).

There will be considerable interest in the two Frankels on offer from Yulong in Lot 641 and Lot 706. It will be the first time that progeny of the sire have been offered at this sale.

Lot 641 Frankel (GB) x Harlech (GB)

Lot 706 is a colt out of Kahara River (Ire) (Bushranger {Ire}), a half-sister to French Group 3 winner Perugina (Fr) (Highest Honor {Fr}) as well as stakes-placed Sovana (Ire) (Desert King {Ire}), the dam of three European Group winners.

"He is a lovely big strong colt, a great moving horse. He's got real presence about him," Yulong Chief Operating Officer Sam Fairgray said ahead of the sale.

"He's very strong and has plenty of bone and his walk is the thing that will capture a lot of people because he's such a great mover."

Fairgray believes Lot 641, the filly out of Harlech (GB) (Pivotal {GB}) will attract quite a lot of attention for both her pedigree and her athleticism.

"She's a lovely filly. Harlech is a Pivotal mare, so she's bred on the same cross as Cracksman (GB). She's a real athletic sort of filly, plenty of size about her and quality. She is what you'd expect to see from a really classic type of filly," he said.

It will be intriguing to see how the market receives them.

The market is certainly in love with Redoute's Choice, who has had three million dollar lots inside the first two days.

The Arrowfield stallion tops to sale averages comfortably at the halfway mark and has four for sale on Friday, the pick of which appears to be Lot 537 out of American Listed winner Dyna Slam (USA) (Grand Slam {USA}).
