TDN: Favourite racing moment of 2018?
CR: My favourite racing moment of 2018 was this summer at Del Mar when Double Touch (GB) won the Wickerr S., providing great mate Dan Blacker with his first stakes win.
TDN: And non-racing moment?
CR: When I'm not looking at horses my passion is fishing so my favourite non-racing moment was catching my first king salmon in Alaska.
TDN: Best thing about Magics and the Gold Coast?
CR: The best thing about the Magic Millions sale for me is getting to see the large volume of progeny by the freshman sires for the first time. Living on the Gold Coast the sale is on my home turf so I really enjoy getting to come home to my family every night.
TDN: What progeny have impressed you so far on your MM inspections?
CR: There appears to be no slowing down for I Am Invincible and Zoustar as their stock are clear standouts on the pre-sale farm inspections.
TDN: New Year's resolution for 2019?
CR: In 2019 my New Year's resolution is to make more time for my family.
