A quickfire round with bloodstock agent Michael Wallace

TDN: Favourite racing moment of 2018?

MW: Justify's (USA) win in the Grade 1 Belmont S. to capture the Triple Crown was an amazing day. A once in a lifetime racing day.

TDN: And non-racing moment?

MW: The birth of my son, Mac. A clear winner there.

TDN: Best thing about Magics and the Gold Coast?

MW: It’s a new year. Like a new start and a new challenge. I love the early mornings on the beach. It’s a great place to think about the day ahead and what I’d like to achieve.

TDN: What progeny have impressed you so far on your MM inspections?

MW: I’m putting this off but from what I’ve seen through the year Pride of Dubai and Vancouver have left likely types. Press Statement is the one who might go under the radar. He was a very good racehorse. I'm going to mention Super One as the smokey as well. He's getting real two-year-old looking types.

TDN: New Year's resolution for 2019?

MW: I don’t believe in them. If you want to do something do it today.
