Listed Wyong Magic Millions 2YO Classic, Wyong

Race Summary:

Unite And Conquer (Hinchinbrook) kept his unbeaten run intact, winning the Magic Millions Wyong 2YO Classic with another all-the way win.

Taken to the front by Adam Hyeronimus, Unite and Conquer set a strong early tempo and then gave a big kick on the corner. He wandered around late, but still had 1.3l to spare over fast-finishing Exhilarates (Snitzel), with Spaceboy (Deep Field) finishing another two lengths back in third.

Having debuted with a Listed win at Flemington in October, Unite And Conquer is now a clear favourite for the Magic Millions 2YO Classic at the Gold Coast next month.

He was a $80,000 buy for Blueblood Thoroughbreds at the Magic Millions.

The second filly is also headed to the Gold Coast as well with Godolphin having paid $600,000 for her at the January sale.

Pedigree Notes:

Unite And Conquer is out of the city-winning mare Maglissa (Magnus), who is out of the Group 1 winning mare Danglissa, a family which also includes Euryale and Sweet Redemption.

He is the first foal from Maglissa who has since had a colt by So You Think and a colt by Capitalist.
