The breeze-ups for next month's Magic Millions 2YO in Training Sale continued at Seymour on Friday with a colt by Better Than Ready recording the fastest sectional of the 33 lots on show.

The colt, presented by Baystone Farm, clocked 10.19 seconds for the 200m on the all-weather track.

The first progeny of Better Than Ready, who stands at Lyndhurst Stud Farm, hit the track this season and include two recent impressive trial winners in Queensland.

There are six Better Than Readys in the Magic Millions 2YO in Training Sale on October 9, including the Baystone Farm colt in action on Friday (Lot 181), who is out of Upper Notch (High Yield {USA}).

That makes him a half-brother to metropolitan 2-year-old winner Frupper (Freeze) and the multiple Singapore winner Tentenwin (Untouchable).

Second quickest in the session was Lot 111, a filly by Dundeel (NZ) out of Natural Selection (Choisir) who stopped the clock at 10.21s.

Her dam is a half-sister to Zizou and related to the likes of True Blonde, Come Hither and star Arrowfield stallion Not a Single Doubt.

The progeny of Better Than Ready are off to a flying start, recording the fastest breeze up time at Seymour on Friday

Lot 40, a colt by first-season sire Deep Field out of the stakeswinner Freestyle (Snippets), was third quickest in 10.28s. That colt's half-sisters have produced the very promising Assertive Play (Akeed Mofeed {GB}) as well as recent metro winner Spirit of Aquada (Bel Esprit), while his grandam is the group winner Stella Artois.

The other two colts to break 10.40s were Lot 101 from Nolen Racing, by Uncle Mo (USA) out of Miss January (High Yield {USA}) and Lot 154 by Mawingo (Ger) out of Some Cheer (Never Quit {NZ}).

The breeze-ups, which kicked off at Warwick Farm on Thursday, continue at the Gold Coast on Monday with 94 lots entered. The final lot of 60 2-year-olds will be on show on Monday October 8, the day before the sale at the Gold Coast.

The Magic Millions website has the full results of the breeze-ups so far and will show the two remaining sessions live, with Monday's session to start at 9:30am.
